Restaurant Inspections

Environmental health programs and restaurant inspections are conducted in Greene County by the New York State Department of Health’s Oneonta Regional Office.

These environmental health programs ensure suitable water, food, housing, and recreational facilities are provided to the public.  In addition to this, they also identify, investigate, and resolve actual and potential health hazards caused by environmental factors.
