Public Health Merit Badge Program
The Public Health Boy Scout Merit Badge was created nearly 200 years ago. While public health activities have changed dramatically since then, public health continues to be important to our community and society. This Merit Badge program will soon be available to Boy Scouts in Greene County.
Through earning this merit badge, Boys Scouts will learn about various aspects of public health. This includes an understanding of topics such as communicable diseases, immunizations, safe drinking water, and the role of public health agencies. Health dangers of pollution, alcohol, and drugs will also be covered through this program.
